Today I went and picked up the truck and a rug from my Gram's house and Pete and I took the truck to Wally World to buy a ladder so we could access the rafters and fix the "den" (yep. That's what I'm calling it now.) space. So this is what it looked like before:
and this is what it looks like now!
I finished the pantry curtains and put down the carpet. Pete took down the tarp and put it back up again in a new way since we had the ladder. He moved it so instead of being in the middle of the room we moved it all the way over to the (left in the picture) We took down the purple tapestry and brought in a different tapestry to kind of cover the "walk way" that leads to the back half. I didn't want to leave it without anything because then its really breasy and open. I added side tables and I bought a stand lamp last week for that area. Mo has claimed the couch as his own. And then I finished the hanging scrapbook.
We moved the purple tapestry and "Above Eden" art to this other wall to cover some of those shelves because really there's nothing on those shelves but junk mostly.
A close up of the hanging scrapbook.
A close up of one of the "squares" I really really like.
One of my other favorite squares. The black and white picture is of K's back while she was holding both Gabee and Kaleb in her arms. It was at Gabee's preschool graduation.
Last but not least is a close up of the pantry curtains. You can't really see where one curtain ends and one begins but they are all seperate so we can get into each shelf. I also moved my soap supplies shelfs to the corner. It was where the purple tapestry is now. I'm pretty pleased with the space over all. Hooray!!
